PETS 2007
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - 14 October 2007

In Conjunction with 11th IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision 2007

Submission Details

As stated in the call for papers, the submission for PETS 2007 can take one of two forms:

Authors submitting papers detailing approaches for left luggage detection must submit accompanying XML results for the PETS 2007 sequences (minimum submission should evaluate one or more of the sequences S0-S8). The definition of the events to be recognised (loitering, theft, left luggage) and the XML submission schema are given in the Benchmark Data section of this site.

N.B. All parameter configurations of your system must be reported in the submitted paper, these must also be commented in the submitted XML (see the provided example). Parameter twiddling to obtain optimal (and unrepresentative) results for each sequence is discouraged and must be reported in your paper.

The submitted XML results will be evaluated separately for presentation at the PETS workshop, using metrics based on:

Author Guidelines

The paper format is IEEE two-column. The author kit which contains detailed instructions about the preparation of the paper is available at ftp://ftp.computer.org/press/outgoing/proceedings/. The maximum page length of the final paper is 8 pages.

All printed material, including illustrations, must be kept within a print area of 6-7/8 inches (17.5 cm) wide by 8-7/8 inches (22.5 cm) high. A detailed description of the format is given in the IEEE Author Guidelines. There is a simple LaTex template for this format that may assist you in meeting this format. Or see the MS word template. The submitted file should be in Postscript or PDF format and printed to file as US Legal A4.

Please submit your paper as an email attachment to submissions@pets2007.net

The paper should be named by concatenating the names of the authors' last names followed by a single digit in the case of multiple submissions by the same authors.

Alternatively, the paper may be sent to:

If you send the paper by surface mail/courier, please also send an email to submissions@pets2007.net   indicating that the paper has been sent.

Do not identify authors in the submitted paper.  All reviewing will be double blind, so the paper must not include any information which allows the authors to be identified.
